Walk With Me in '23

It is the first blog of 2023...It should be profound...full of inspirational meaning, introspective reflection, and bits of wisdom!  Shouldn't it?
I am not sure I ever have profound anything!
But the thread through our music at church on the first day of 2023 was time; "Take Time To Be Holy", and what God can do with our time...because for God there is no time...or at least not time as we know it.
๐Ÿ“– But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2 Peter 2:8
๐Ÿ“– For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord. Isaiah 55:8
Time moves forward and there is nothing we can do about that. All we can do is utilize the time we have.
You have one shot at the next 5 minutes...how can you use them wisely....use them to serve God?
You have one shot at the next 24 hours, how can you use them wisely? ...serving God?

We also aren't promised how many minutes we will have....
So the first thing is commit every moment to Him, and then move according to His example and standard....you  will be moving in the right direction.

๐Ÿ“– He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8

๐Ÿ“– Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:37-40

๐Ÿ“– Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:1-2

๐Ÿ™ My prayer for you; that you can walk each day of 2023 with Him.❤️
